I enjoyed this book so much that I just bought everything Liron Yanconsky has published. He makes it so clear and so well explained that I feelI have learned a lot from this little book. Of course, I would like see if he makes more books on how to draw all kinds of fruit and vegetables with graphite pencil. Also, more landscape drawing with moving water and lots of clouds all of course for us beginners.Thank you Liron I think you are a very good teacher.In appreciation for your work.nuria
This short book is merely a section from Yanconsky's previous, much longer book "How to Sketch" released as its own small book.
Read it through the day I received it. Contains some good advice and techniques; I especially thank the author for advice in layering. I just wish the pictures are a little larger.
Disappointed in this one! I was expecting some info on drawing mountains and water, but this book had neither. I will probably return it. I have his other book (Urban sketching for Beginners), which I like.
Everything this man publishes is a wonderful teaching tool for me
Very helpful especially for beginners. Good illustrations and instructions. I especially liked his rocks and trees. I really enjoyed it.
